Eliminating HPV-related cancers is increasingly within reach—but scientific evidence alone is not enough. The success of HPV prevention depends on how effectively recommendations are communicated, accepted and implemented across the population. In Switzerland, important questions remain: How can vaccination and screening uptake be improved? Which behavioural factors influence prevention? And how can proven strategies achieve a measurable population-level impact?

In this WebUp, Prof. Suzanne Suggs will explore HPV prevention from a Swiss public health and implementation perspective. The session will examine why elimination has become a realistic goal, where Switzerland currently stands, and how evidence can be translated into effective communication and sustainable action.
