Our next FOMF Live session will spotlight hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) – a clinically significant condition that continues to challenge and inspire cardiologists and general practitioners alike.

We are honored to welcome Dr. Pablo García Pavía, MD, PhD, Head of the Inherited Cardiac Diseases and Heart Failure Unit at Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro in Madrid and Associate Professor of Medicine at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. In a keynote, Dr. García Pavía will present the latest long-term data, clinical insights, and experiences in patient management in the field of HOCM.

His presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with two leading Swiss experts:

• PD Dr. med. Simon Stämpfli, Co-Head of Cardiology at Luzerner Kantonsspital, and
• Dr. med. Maria Isabel Gonzalez del Hoyo, MD, PhD, Senior Consultant in the Department of Cardiology at the University Hospital Zurich (USZ), specializing in cardiomyopathies and echocardiography.

Together, they will explore how cutting-edge research can be translated into everyday clinical practice, share insights from patient care in Switzerland, and discuss key takeaways for the long-term management of individuals living with HOCM.
